Elena Nicholson is a professional Interior Designer and Feng Shui practitioner. She earned a degree in Civil Engineering in Moscow in 1982, and did engineering and building design work in several areas in Russia. She later immigrated to Canada and worked for 9 years for Royal Building Systems near Toronto as a Design Coordinator. She then studied Feng Shui and gained a Practitioner Diploma from the Feng Shui Research Centre under one of famous Master Joseph Yu. She also got a Professional Interior Design Diploma from the Sheffield School of Interior Design in New York city.
In 1988 she started studying metaphysics and realized that there is more to life than just the physical. Through spiritual growth and meditation she started seeing the need for more harmony and balance in life. People spend a lot of time at home and this is the first place where we need to have harmony. She has worked extensively with buildings and houses and has learnt to create an environment of harmony inside of them. The knowledge of Feng Shui helps her to arrange the best distribution of energy.
She believes that the progress in science and spiritual studies are connecting the two closer every year, and will result in a better understanding of the harmonious laws of the universe.
